The River Valley Film Festival was founded in September 2019 by Cory Baney as a 501(c)3 Nonprofit. The festival strives to provide a platform for independent filmmakers to showcase their incredible talents, and expose the city of Williamsport, PA to the filmmaking world. The city of Williamsport has a rich history in logging, once the lumber capital of the world, as well as being the founding city of Little League Baseball. With the historic nature of the city, combined with the built in infrastructure for the annual Little League World Series, it makes the city the perfect location for the River Valley Film Festival.

River Valley Film Festival is a 501(c)3 registered nonprofit with a focus on education, bringing together the community, and maintaining the historic architecture within the city.
